Atletico Madrid are looking to secure the services of Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette in the summer. According to recent reports, the Gunners forward is attracting interest from the La Liga giants ahead of the summer transfer window. Diego Simeone’s side are reportedly planning to make a swoop for the French ace at the end of the current season as they look to replace Antoine Griezmann, who is being heavily touted to make a switch to Barcelona this summer.

Some sources have recently claimed that the Madrid-based club are already preparing for life without Griezmann and will be on the lookout for a new striker this summer. It is believed that Lacazette fits the bill perfectly so a move to the Spanish capital looks set to be on the cards. The Frenchman is reported to be Los Rojiblancos’ number 1 choice to replace Griezmann.

The 26-year-old has featured in 29 matches for Arsenal this season, scoring 9 goals and providing 4 assists in all competitions. He has found life hard in North London and has fallen down the pecking order since the arrival of Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang in January.
