Cardiff City have been offered a chance to secure the services of Watford forward Andre Gray in the summer. According to recent reports, the Bluebirds could make a swoop for the Hornets striker if they can secure a promotion back to the Premier League at the end of this season. The 26-year-old has struggled to score goals regularly during the course of this season following his arrival from Burnley last summer.
The Hornets had to pay a club record fee of £18.5m to bring Gray to Vicarage Road last summer. However, he has failed to establish himself at Hertfordshire this season and could now be on his way out of the club. It is believed that Cardiff City would need to negotiate a cut-price deal for the 26-year-old’s services when the transfer opens in the summer if a deal was to take place.
The Sports Editor of the Burnley Express, Chris Boden posted a tweet claiming that the Hornets are likely to part ways with Andre Gray this summer with the Cardiff City Stadium a possible destination for the former Burnley forward.

Gray has featured in 28 matches for Watford this season, scoring four goals and providing 3 assists in all competitions. Only time will tell whether Cardiff City opts to make a move for his signature in the near future.
