Antonio Conte has revealed that both Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud should be fit for Chelsea FC’s clash against Hull City in the FA Cup on Friday night.
Giroud started for Chelsea in their 3-0 win over West Brom in the Premier League on Monday night at Stamford Bridge and set up Eden Hazard for the west London club’s first goal.
Morata came on as a second-half substitute as the Spanish forward made his return from a niggling back injury.
The pair will both be hoping to prove their fitness levels in the coming weeks and months as they bid to help Chelsea FC enjoy a successful end to the season.
And Chelsea FC manager Conte has now revealed that both players should be fit and available for the west London side’s home clash against Hull City in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Friday.
Speaking at his post-match news conference at Stamford Bridge on Monday night, Conte said: “He was unlucky but he is ready for the game against Hull.
“Now it’s very important for him and Alvaro to play games, they need to find the best physical condition. Training is OK but games are better and more important.”
Chelsea FC will then switch their attentions towards their crunch Champions League clash with FC Barcelona next week.
The Blues are currently in fourth place in the Premier League table as they look to try and at least finish in the top four in Conte’s second season at the club.
