WATFORD head-coach Javi Gracia revealed that Abdoulaye Doucoure could be sold after the end of the current campaign aimed interest from Arsenal and Manchester Untied.

And Gracia is worried that the Hornets owners may choose to cash in a player who has enjoyed an impressive 2017/18 season French midfielder powerhouse has scored seven goals in 30 games for Watford this term.

“I don’t know, I don’t know what happens in the future,” the Spaniard said.

“Whether he will sign a new contract or stay with us a long time, I don’t know.

“He is a very good player and he can do better,” the Hornets boss added.

“I have tried to explain to him many things that he can improve but at this moment, this season, he is a very good player.

“He has a very good attitude and helps the team all of the time with a good mentality and attitude.”

When asked about his next move last month, Frenchman revealed he will assess his options and said: “We’ll see what the state of play is in the summer and then we can ask questions.”

Arsene Wenger is desperate to sign a replacement for Granit Xhaka who has failed to impress the Gunners since his arrival from Borussia Monchengladbach back in 2016.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are in danger to lose Marouane Fellaini this summer with Belgian star is open for a new challenge and long-serving midfielder Michael Carrick plans to hang his boots on the wall after the end of the current campaign.
