Jupp Heynckes has confirmed that he will not extend his stay at the Allianz Arena at the end of the season
Bayern Munich reportedly want Joachim Low to replace Jupp Heynckes next year – but face stiff competition from Real Madrid.
The 72-year-old has ruled out the chance of extending his stay at the Allianz Arena.
Low has emerged as a top target to fill the void when Heyneckes’ spell as boss ends in June, according to Bild.
Following the dismissal of Carlo Ancelotti, the German returned to the Bundesliga giants for the fourth time.
But the former Borussia Monchengladbach player vowed to only stay until the end of the season.
Bayern president Uli Hoeness previously stated that it was ‘possible’ the coach would stay, but Heynckes snubbed this claim on Saturday.
