Malcom is ready to reject a move to Tottenham and sign for their north London rivals Arsenal this month, according to reports in Brazil.
Brazilian outlet Universo Online, as quoted by the Sun, is reporting that the Bordeaux midfielder is wanted by a number of clubs, including both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, and as well as Manchester United.
The same report says that both Arsenal and Tottenham have met with the 20-year-old’s agents in recent weeks and that he now has his heart set on a move to The Emirates.
It is claimed that a move to sign Malcom will materialise for Arsenal if the Gunners end up selling Alexis Sanchez to Manchester City this month.
The move to sign Malcom could also cost Arsenal as much as £44m, according to the same story.
Malcom has scored seven goals and made four assists in 18 Ligue 1 games for Bordeaux so far this season.
Arsenal could end up being on the lookout for a replacement for Sanchez if the Chile international does indeed end up leaving the north London side in the January transfer window.
Sanchez’s future has been a relentless source of speculation this month after he entered into the final few months of his contract at The Emirates.
