Conte was speaking at a press conference on Tuesday in response to a question about Willian who, after being Chelsea’s Player of the Season two years ago, has been used mostly as a substitute this term by the Italian coach.
However, the Brazilian winger enjoyed a superb past week as he scored two goals and won two penalties in Chelsea’s 4-0 Champions League victory away to Qarabag before netting the goal that secured a 1-1 League draw for the Blues against Liverpool at Anfield.
With a congested fixture list on the cards for the champions in December, Conte is expected to rotate his team when Chelsea welcome Swansea City to Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.
But the Blues boss insisted that whoever does not start that game or, indeed, any other this season must still be content with their role at Chelsea.
