Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea have just been handed a major boost in their pursuit of AS Monaco winger Thomas Lemar as Liverpool pulled out from the race for his signature.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Jurgen Klopp’s side are prepared to move on to other targets with Monaco are demanding at least £90million for their star player.

France international forwards form has taken a bit of a hit this campaign despite being Key in Monaco’s Ligue 1 success last season, attracting interest from hosts of European clubs including the Premier League trio.

The Daily Mirror have also linked the France international with Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea.

Arsenal are currently in search for a replacement of Alexis Sanchez who has made move to Manchester United, while Chelsea see Lemar as a long-term replacement for Eden Hazard who has been rumoured with a switch to Real Madrid next summer.

Were Lemar to get back to his best, he could easily strengthen any of those sides in an important part of the pitch, and the Merseyside Reds being out of the running can only strengthen their cause.
