Play like this every week and Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson may as well start thinking about how to spend his lucrative £1million-plus Premier League survival bonus.

This was easy for Palace. They were all over Sean Dyche’s Burnley and, though the scoreline suggests it was tight, they deserved this win at Selhurst Park.

Since Dyche exclaimed he was the ‘proudest man in Proudville’ in December, Burnley have suffered four defeats, three draws and no wins. The train looks to have run out of steam.
