Dennis Wise is tipping Arsenal to finish outside the top four places in the Premier League once again this season.

The Gunners missed out on a place in the Champions League this term after they slumped to a disappointing fifth place in the Premier League last season.

Arsene Wenger’s side have failed to find consistent form in the Premier League this season, with the north London side are currently in sixth place in the top-flight table.

The north Londoners clearly face a fight in trying to get back into the top four, with Tottenham, Liverpool, Chelsea, and both Manchester clubs both above them in the table.

And former Chelsea star Wise has all but ruled out Arsenal’s hopes of securing qualification for next season’s Champions League.

Speaking on The Debate on Sky Sports, Wise said: “Arsenal are a sixth-to-10th place team.

“I don’t think they’re good enough to get in that [fourth] spot.

“The five above them are so much better than them… Arsenal are five points off the top four.

“I don’t think they will get in the Champions League.”

Arsenal are currently preparing for their Premier League clash against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Gunners, who were dumped out of the FA Cup at the hands of Nottingham Forest last weekend, have not won the Premier League title since their famous unbeaten triumph in the 2003-04 campaign.
