The Portuguese may have just played himself into the Team of The Week

Cristiano Ronaldo may be one of the best players in FIFA 18, but in the real world he’s been hit and miss.

The Portuguese scored just four goals in his first 14 La Liga games of the season and despite a decent tally in the Champions League some were worried his best days were behind him.

Yet, like a true world class player, the 33-year-old turned things around in recent weeks, netting seven times in his last four league games including a hat trick against Real Sociedad last weekend.

The recent flood of goals brings his tally for the season to 23, more than he had at the same stage last season when he went on to be crowned the Ballon d’Or winner.
