The fans’ favourite will remember the 2017 season for all the right reasons after he won his first major at the Masters back in April.
That victory came between wins at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic and the Andalucia Valderrama Masters, hosted by the Sergio Garcia Foundation.
It is the first time Garcia has won three events on the European Tour in one calendar year and the 37-year-old now wants to end with a bang.
He told the European Tour official website: “I think 2017 and 2008 are definitely the best years I’ve had in my career.
“This one, it’s a little bit more special because I won three times in Europe which I’ve never done in my career.
“Obviously winning the Masters, getting married, expecting a little baby girl, so it is definitely top.”
