Vivianne Miedema reached an outstanding achievement of 50 goals for the Netherlands on Friday night, as they ran out comfortable 7-0 winners over Northern Ireland.
Sari Van Veenendaal, Dominique Janssen, Danielle Van de Donk and Miedema played the entirety of the World Cup qualifying fixture, helping the Netherlands to take the top spot in Group three. They’ve recorded three wins and one draw from their four games so far.
Jordan Nobbs played 90 minutes at the heart of the England midfield in a 0-0 draw with Wales, while Beth Mead came on as a substitute in the 80th minute to make her international debut.
This result means that England are unbeaten in Group One, pushing them up to second place with three wins and a draw. Wales remain one point clear at the top of the group, but the Lionesses have the advantage of a game in hand.

The Girls in Green looked set for a point after a goalkeeping error allowed Slovakia to draw level, but with the final whistle just minutes away, Amber Barrett found herself through on goal and hammered the ball home to make it 2-1.
The Republic of Ireland now sit level with the Netherlands at the top of Group Three.
Finally, Kim Little, Lisa Evans and Emma Mitchell were all handed a start in Scotland’s World Cup qualifying clash with Switzerland on Thursday night, as they slipped to a 1-0 defeat.
