Jamie Carragher picked out four Liverpool FC players for special praise after Wednesday night’s resounding 5-0 win at Porto.
The Reds made the breakthrough in the first half when Sadio Mane’s shot crept past Porto goalkeeper Jose Sa in the 25th minute.
Four minutes later, the Reds were 2-0 up when Mohamed Salah showed superb composure to collect the loose ball and finish past Sa after three sublime touches.
Liverpool FC punished Porto in the second half as the Portuguese leaders looked to press for a way back into the Champions League clash.
Mane scored his second goal after Roberto Firmino’s effort was saved before the Brazil international got his 21st goal in all competitions this season.
The Senegal international completed his hat-trick on the stroke of full-time with a long-range strike to scored Liverpool FC’s 36th Champions League goal of the season.
