Celtic centre back Kristoffer Ajer is a target for German giants Borussia Dortmund. The Bundesliga side are looking to bring in a host of new players after a disappointing league season.
This weekend’s 6-0 defeat to Bayern Munich seemed to signal to the club’s board that it was time to bring in new faces and the club will now make a move for 6 foot 5 defender Ajer in a deal worth a reported 18 million euros.
Ajer joined Celtic from Norwegian club Start in 2016 and has since gone on to represent Norway’s full international side this season, having played for all levels for the Scandinavian country’s youth side.
The 19-year-old has three years remaining on his current contract with the Scottish champions and is said to be happy in the north but is open to a move away if the right offer comes in.
Dortmund have a shortlist of 10 names that they plan to bring in when the summer transfer window reopens in June 2018.
