The 62-year-old was appointed Lille coach over the summer but, with Les Dogues sitting 19th out of 20 Ligue 1 sides, he was told to stay away from the club last week, with Lille then appointing a four-man coaching team to take provisional charge of the team.

The Stade Pierre-Mauroy outfit have now released a statement outlining their plans to speak to the Argentinian and it is said that the much-travelled manager will be shown the exit door after failing to inspire his charges and get the desired results.

Bielsa has called on the French Football League to help resolve his differences with Lille and put the blame firmly at the club’s door, but it seems as though his tortured tenure will soon be at an end.
