LIVERPOOL head-coach Jurgen Klopp is reportedly confident of completing the signing of Luis Suarez from Barcelona after Philippe Coutinho finalised the transfer to Barcelona.
Liverpool lost Brazilian playmaker to Barcelona earlier yesterday with the South American forward moving to the Nou Camp for £142million deal.
Before the transfer was announced, reports suggested that the Merseyside Reds had launched a stunning enquiry about Luis Suarez, whose future in La Liga is uncertain.
The Catalan giants are set to bolster their squad in the summer transfer window with signing Antoine Griezmann and might consider selling Luis Suarez.
And Spanish outlet Diario Gol suggested that Jurgen Klopp is now confident of luring Suarez in what would arguably be the biggest shock of this January transfer window.
Suarez remains popular with Liverpool fans after spending four years at Anfield.
The Uruguay international came close to propelling them to Premier League glory back in 2014, however, left after the Spanish giants, Barcelona came calling.
Though Brazilian forward Roberto Firmino is currently in fine fettle, The Reds need another striker with Daniel Sturridge’s likely to leave the club.
And Diario Gol claims that the Merseyside Reds boss Klopp is confident over a deal to bring Uruguayan forward at Anfield.
