The Daily Mail can reveal Mane became so alarmed by Liverpool’s performances while was away at the Africa Cup of Nations duty he had to step in.
The Reds slumped from title challengers to outside the top four while the Senegalese star was away playing in Gabon, and he duly urged Jordan Henderson to take action when he returned.
