Pep Guardiola has won the Premier League Manager of the Month award for December, becoming the first man ever to scoop the gong on four consecutive occasions. 

Manchester City managed six wins and one draw from their seven Premier League fixtures last month, scoring 19 goals in the process and conceding just three. 

Guardiola has won the award for September, October, November and now December with his City side having dropped just four points all season in the league.

City enjoyed wins over Tottenham, West Ham, Bournemouth, Newcastle, Swansea and Manchester United before a goalless draw at Crystal Palace on New Year’s Eve. 

Guardiola’s men scored four on three occasions – against Swansea, Tottenham and Bournemouth – and beat rivals Manchester United 2-1 at Old Trafford in December.  

City are currently 15 points clear of United at the top of the Premier League…
