JOSE MOURINHO admits he fears Marouane Fellaini will quit Manchester United on a free transfer next summer.
Fellaini is out of contract at the end of the season and has so far turned down the new deal United have offered.
Mourinho is desperate for the Belgian international to stay at Old Trafford – but now Paris Saint-Germain have entered the race for Fellaini he fears he may lose him.
Until now the most likely interest in the 30-year-old had come from Turkey, but the emergence of PSG as a serious option has set alarm bells ringing.
Asked if he was worried Fellaini will quit next summer, Mourinho said: “Yes, I am.”
The United boss was then questioned on what he could do to ensure the former Everton star remained at Old Trafford.
“Nothing,” he said: “Leave the discussion to the player and the board. I am not involved in contracts, in deals.
