Although the Foxes have improved at the back under new boss Claude Puel, they have not won in their last three matches.

Two draws and a defeat have seen Puel’s side drop to 12th in the Premier League table but they could climb into the top 10 if results go their way this week.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men will be in their way at the King Power Stadium and Ndidi admits they will need to be at their best to win.

He told LCFC TV: “I have never looked too much at the opposition. We know they are a good team so it will be very difficult.

“That makes it difficult, a team who has just won once in four games will be difficult because they will want to win so we should expect that and do more to get three points.

“Every game at home, the fans are very crucial for us. We need three points because it feels like a while since our last win. We can do it if we play well and follow the coach’s instructions.”
