Jose Mourinho has launched a scathing attack at Frank De Boer, who attempted to criticise the United boss for not playing Marcus Rashford more often.
Rashford was the star of the show in the Red Devils’ blockbuster encounter with bitter rivals Liverpool, finding the back of the net with two magnificent finishes – the first of which has drawn several comparisons to Cristiano Ronaldo.
As usual, though, a number of fans and pundits fed off of the hype of the game, and idiotically hit out at Mourinho for not playing Rashford more often.
It appears as though they have instantly forgotten that the youngster was the Portuguese boss’s preferred option at the start of the season, but it was his own poor form, coupled with the hard work and brilliant form of Anthony Martial, that saw him dropped in the first place.

Frank De Boer was appointed Crystal Palace boss on a three-year deal at the start of the season, but was sacked just 10 weeks into the job, having overseen a run of 4 consecutive defeats in the Premier League, without his side scoring a single goal.
The Dutchman, who is still without a job, served as a pundit for the United-Liverpool clash, and claimed it was a ‘pity’ that Rashford has Mourinho as his manager after the game.
