Paul Merson is backing Liverpool to record a 3-1 win at Stoke City at the Bet365 Stadium on Wednesday night.

The Reds will make the trip to Stoke mid-week in search of three points following a 1-1 draw with defending Premier League champions Chelsea at Anfield at the weekend.

The Merseyside outfit had beaten Huddersfield Town, West Ham United and Southampton in their previous three games before the visit of title holders Chelsea on Saturday evening.
