Morgan Schneiderlin has claimed Everton’s players will redouble their efforts to get a disgruntled fanbase back on their side.
The Blues have lost seven of their 13 Premier League games this term and have the worst defensive record in the division, having shipped 28 already.
Defeat for David Unsworth’s side against David Moyes’ West Ham on Wednesday will see the Hammers move out of the relegation zone and above their hosts.
However, Schneiderlin has stated a willingness from the whole squad to get disenchanted supporters back on side.
“We must stick together and fight, but also be more confident,” Schneiderlin told the club’s official website.
“Everyone needs to be confident in his ability and everyone has to know that getting out of this comes through confidence in ourselves and the players around us.
“We care about this football club, we care about the teammates next to us and we just want to have the fans on our side and confident [in us].
“But it is easy to speak, the main thing is to address that in the next two days, to address the wrong things we are doing and start playing better.”
