Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has made two changes to the team that beat Liverpool at Old Trafford last Saturday lunchtime as he looks to engineer a Champions League victory against Sevilla this evening and book a place in the quarter-finals.
Coming into the side after the 2-1 win over the Merseysiders are Marouane Fellaini and Jesse Lingard. Both came on as subs at the weekend and this will be midfielder Fellaini’s first start in any competition since the European trip to Switzerland last November in the 1-0 defeat against Basel. The engine-room shake-up sees Scott McTominay and Juan Mata revert to the bench for tonight’s last-16 second-leg game.
Paul Pogba returns to the matchday squad after missing the weekend’s win with injury but he is only back on the bench. His fellow France international, Anthony Martial, is also among the subs after being absent for the last two matches against Crystal Palace and Liverpool.
Seven players survive from United’s starting XI in the first-leg 0-0 draw in Spain on 21 February, while Sevilla have made one change to their line-up from that game – former Manchester City winger Jesus Navas is out with a calf injury and is replaced by Gabriel Mercado at right-back.
