England international Tuilagi has been on the sidelines for the past three months with a knee injury but he is back in the running for the hotly-anticipated encounter against Wasps at the Ricoh Arena.
The 26-year-old, who has been capped 26 times by the Red Rose, has returned to training and Tigers head coach Matt O’Connor told BBC Radio Leicester that the centre could be included in the squad.
He said: “Manu is training and we will make a call if we can fit him into the group or not.”
Tuilagi has been plagued by injuries over the past year and, before he picked up the recent injury, he was on the sidelines from January to September with an earlier knee problem.
Both Leicester and England will be hoping the Samoa-born star can enjoy an injury-free run for the senior side with his performances making a huge impact on the domestic and international stage.
