Manchester United winger Anthony Martial could make a surprise switch to Arsene Wenger‘s Arsenal at the end of the current campaign.
The Frenchman has found himself increasingly marginalised since Alexis Sanchez‘s arrival at Old Trafford in January, and he is now said to be weighing up his future.
According to Le 10 Sport, the 22-year-old would consider a move to arch-rivals Arsenal, though the Gunners are likely to face competition from some of Europe’s elite.
The likes of Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain have regularly been associated with the former AS Monaco man, whilst there is also said to be interest from Tottenham Hotspur, who are among the player’s long-term admirers.
Martial has been restricted to just two Premier League starts since Sanchez’s arrival at Old Trafford, and he was only a substitute on Sunday as United suffered a rather shock 1-0 defeat to West Bromwich Albion.
The attacker currently has just 14 months left on his United contract, though the club have the option of exercising an extension clause which may extend his stay by a further year.
