Manchester United’s 22-man squad have flown to Texas to take part in the Dallas Cup, which starts this weekend.
Kieran McKenna is in charge of what is largely an Under-18s party with Reserves duo Jake Kenyon and Joshua Bohui the only older additions to bolster the group.
Spanish schemer Arnau Puigmal and Republic of Ireland prospect Lee O’Connor are unavailable due to international commitments, while Angel Gomes, Tom Sang and Aliou Traore have been ruled out through injury.
Mason Greenwood, the top scorer for the Academy team this season, is the youngest player selected while Largie Ramazani, who signed professional terms on Wednesday, also makes the trip.
The Reds’ opening game of the tournament is against Tigres on Sunday.
