Maikano Adamu, the Secretary-General of Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), on Friday in Abuja said the federation’s league season would begin in March.

Adamu told newsmen that the federation had sent letters to interested clubs to register for the season.

“The league will commence in March, God willing, and the league will start at the zonal level to promote the grassroots development of the sport.

“The best at the zonal level will compete in the premiership,’’ he said.

The federation secretary-general said the NVBF president and other board members were working hard to ensure that the federation had a successful season.
