Mohamed Salah was once again instrumental for the Reds as he scored one and set up another in an enthralling night at Merseyside.
The Egyptian king has been in stellar form this season and scored his 38th goal in just 42 games. He opened the scoring after a clinical finish from an open position in the 12th minute itself.
The Reds produced a splendid display under manager Jurgen Klopp and Salah was once again the chief architect of the side’s dominance.
But it was the half-time that got fans to go crazy over Salah. The former AS Roma player went up to City’s defender Aymeric Laporte and clapped his hand, saying something in return.

Many fans took to social media site Twitter, saying that Salah went to him to apologise for the wreckage his team applied on their opponents in Anfield.
