Chelsea are to make a move for 17-year-old attacking midfielder Yacine Adli in the summer transfer window, in a deal that could make Adli the most expensive teenager in football transfer history. The Blues are rumoured to be weighing up a shock £50 million transfer deal for the Paris St Germain starlet.
The Vitry-sur-Seine born midfielder, who is able to represent either Algeria or France, has caught the eye since his emergence for France at under-17 and under-16 level and is now on Antonio Conte‘s transfer radar for a summer move. At under-17 level, Adli has returned an impressive 6 goals in 16 games and is now set to play for France’s under-18 side.
Despite having yet played for Paris St Germain’s first-team, many at the Ligue 1 club expected it is a matter of soon rather than later for Adli but if talk of a transfer to Chelsea is said to be pushed through; it may be in the blue of the Premier League side instead.
